Why do we give?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ (John 3:16)
The gospel of Jesus Christ centers on giving. Knowing God begins with receiving the Gift of eternal life from God in Jesus Christ. The Christian has received freely from God, we must give freely what God has given to us. Generosity is the definitive mark of the Christian character.
